 Black Sherif is a talented Ghanian musician from Konongo, which is located in Ghana - Ashanti region ( West Africa). His real name is Mohammed Ismail Sharif and he was born on 9 January 2002. He is not just a singer but he's also a song writer.

Black Sherif has gained significant recognition for his special hip-hop, rap, and highlife music. He initially became popular in 2021 with his songs “First Sermon” and “Second Sermon”. According to the internet, Black Sherif's net worth is around $500,000.

Career Timeline 

   Black Sherif started his musical journey in 2019, when he started releasing songs and gradually building followers on social media.  He gained a lot of attention in 2020 with his hit song which is titled "Money", which showcased his storytelling in the song. He continued to make more releases which including; "Ankonam," "Mariana," and "Destiny," solidifying his place in the Ghanaian music scene. 

In 2021, Black Sherif released his highly acclaimed debut EP, "Black Sherif's Second Sermon," which further propelled his career to new heights. His follow-up single, titled: "First Sermon," became a massive hit in the whole world, which was gaining  millions of views and solidifying his position as a rising star in the music industry.

In March 2022, he released his hit single song which is titled: "Kwaku the Traveller", which reached Number 1 on the Ghanaian and Nigerian Apple Music charts and became his most popular song. The song was ranked 73rd in Apple Music's Global Top 100 and had millions of streams on various platforms too.

 In October 2022, he released an album, The name of the album is "The Villain I Never Was", which contains 12 songs, including "45", "Soja", and "Don't Forget Me". 

In November 2022, he performed at the 25th anniversary of the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards, which took place at the OVO Arena in Wembley, London. He shared the stage with other African artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and Tiwa Savage. 

In December 2022, he hosted his concert, the "Mozama Disco Concert", in Accra - Ghana. In February 2023, he won the Best Hip Hop award at the Soundcity MVP Awards, which were held at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
